Research Interests

Harry Goldberg is associate professor of biomedical engineering at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Goldberg serves as the director of academic computing and assistant dean at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. His research focuses on developing virtual learning systems to enhance science education for undergraduate and medical students.

Dr. Goldberg’s innovative use of technology for medical education has resulted in the development of a medical app—BurnMed—that uses images, video and text to quickly teach the steps needed to stabilize a patient after a burn.

He is active in the Johns Hopkins community, serving as a managing board member at the Johns Hopkins’ Institute for Excellence in Education and also serving on the Educational Policy Committee and Curriculum Review Committee for the School of Medicine. Goldberg was recognized by Apple as an Apple Distinguished Educator.
