Research Interests
Adler Archer is the Senior Advisor for Strategic Initiatives at Whiting School of Engineering and an assistant research scientist in the Department of Biomedical Engineering. In his role as the Senior Advisor, Adler works with the WSE Dean and WSE Executive Council to ensure the school plans strategically for long-term growth and executes on critical initiatives successfully. As a research scientist at the Johns Hopkins Center for Bioengineering Innovation and Design, Adler’s research focuses implementation of technology in community health care settings, community-based participatory research, and social informatics. Adler is also affiliated with the Johns Hopkins Medicine Technology Innovation Center. His research at TIC explores the impact of professional identity and neo-institutionalism on physician engagement in health systems engagement.
