Eugene Kim awarded the William Negendank Young Investigator Award

Eugene Kim, a BME PhD student in the lab of Dr. Arvind P. Pathak, was awarded the William Negendank Young Investigator Award by the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM). This award is made every two years to “outstanding young investigators in the field of cancer MR. Kim’s award-winning paper titled “A New Method for Vascular Phenotyping Brain Tumors Using Magnetic Resonance Microscopy” was presented at the ISMRM Cancer Workshop in Santa Cruz, CA. His paper based on the same work was featured on the July cover of the Journal of Cerebral Blood Flow and Metabolism.
