Eileen Haase, teaching professor and vice chair for academic programs in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, has been elected as a fellow of the Biomedical Engineering Society. She has been elected for her outstanding contributions to biomedical engineering education through pedagogical innovations in high school, undergraduate, and graduate teaching and for contributions to African higher education.
