Research Interests

Hyeoncheol Park’s research focuses on the development of next-generation miniaturized biomedical devices and multimodal microphysiological systems for real-time sensing, imaging, and functional phenotyping. By integrating multi-scale microfabrication, advanced biophotonic imaging, bioelectronic sensing, and AI-enabled analytics, he aims to create compact, high-performance platforms for quantitative interrogation of human-relevant tissues and disease models. A major goal of his work is to develop scalable and high-throughput systems that capture electrical, structural, and mechanical phenotypes in engineered tissues and organoid-based models. More broadly, he is interested in bridging device engineering, imaging science, and data-driven analysis to enable reproducible physiological measurement, mechanistic insight, and translational impact across cardiac microphysiological systems and future multi-organ platforms.
