PULSE Seminar

Monday, November 17, 2025
5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Our monthly seminar series for undergraduate researchers continues this academic year! Presentations by Undergraduates in Life Science and Engineering (PULSE) is a cross-institutional partnership between Johns Hopkins University’s Department of Biomedical Engineering, Coppin State University, and Morgan State University that started in Spring 2021. Every month our PULSE seminar is held over Zoom and features a 20 minute talk from undergraduate students at each institution. Join us this month to hear about the exciting research from our young researchers! Attendance from all students, faculty, staff, and family/friends are welcomed.

Register for the event here.

This month will feature research focusing on Biological/Cell-based research. Our JHU presenter will be Matthew Farah and his work entitled Harnessing Neuron-Specific Mechanisms of Autophagy as a Novel Therapeutic Intervention for Parkinson Disease from the Chua lab at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine Department of Neurology.
