Research Interests
Dr. Uneri’s research focuses on development of algorithms and systems for computer-assisted, image-guided, and robotic surgery. Areas of interest include: (1) model-based and data-driven multidimensional image registration; (2) hardware and software systems integration for image-guided interventions; and (3) incorporation of imaging and image guidance in surgical robotics.
