Message from the Director
Elliot McVeigh

Welcome. Again we highlight the many activities of our students, faculty and alumni, including exciting new cancer research and the successful business partnership of three of our younger BME alumni.

The department continues to mourn the loss of our friend, colleague and teacher David Yue. Our sadness at David’s death is mixed with profound gratitude for his many contributions to Hopkins and to BME. We take solace in knowing that David inspired so many students who will continue his legacy with their own promising research.

We are interested in hearing about our alumni. Be sure to keep in touch.

Sincerely,

Elliot R. McVeigh, PhD
