ICM is awarded multi-million dollar grant for new digital grid to link heart researchers worldwide

The Institute for Computational Medicine (ICM), along with the Department of Bioinformatics at Ohio State and the Center for Research in Biological Systems at the University of California, San Diego, have been awarded an $8.5 million dollar grant over four years to set up a new digital grid for cardiovascular researchers. This project is funded through The National Heart Lung & Blood Institute (NIH) and will allow researchers to easily exchange data to find new ways to prevent, detect and treat life-threatening cardiac ailments.
