Popel, Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Director of the Systems Biology Laboratory at the Johns Hopkins University, is a keynote speaker at the First International VPH Conference (VPH2010) organized by the Virtual Physiological Human Network of Excellence, in Brussels, Belgium, September 30 to October 1, 2010. The Virtual Physiological Human Network of Excellence is an umbrella project representing the Virtual Physiological Human Initiative set up by the European Commission.
