Student HighlightsMay 15, 2009 BME undergrad awarded Whitaker Fellowship Grace Tan, who graduated from the BME program this year, has been awarded a fellowship by the Whitaker International Fellows Program. The program funds research and study abroad
for one academic year. Grace, who was looking for research experience in the area of systems and computational biology, will be pursuing an MPhil in Biological
Sciences (Physiology, Development and Neuroscience) at Churchill
College, Cambridge University, United Kingdom, and will be modeling
signaling pathways in neural stem cells for her research under Dr.
Kojiro Yano.
