WSE Office of Research: Industrial Initiatives
The Whiting School of Engineering (WSE) has a distinguished record of research which has contributed to increased industrial productivity. Recently, the School embarked on a new initiative to increase its collaborations with industry. Companies benefit from their involvement with the Whiting School by gaining access to world-class research and facilities, highly qualified students, and continuing education and training programs for their employees.

Licensing and Technology Development Office
The purpose of the University's office of Licensing and Technology Development is to ensure rapid transfer of Hopkins ' innovations to the private sector where these discoveries can be developed for the public benefit. The office keeps a database of inventions and patents available for licensing, and publishes articles relating to patenting and licensing issues and practices in conjunction with the Office of the Vice Dean for Research at the School of Medicine . The JHM Alliance for Science and Technology Development
The JHM Alliance for Science and Technology Development (The Alliance) is the group of industry volunteers who will work directly with the faculty to facilitate the transfer of research results to the marketplace so that the public can benefit from these discoveries. The Alliance has broad experience and contacts in numerous biomedical industries and is generously donating its members' efforts to this endeavor. Click Here

Johns Hopkins Center for Innovation in Quality Patient Care
The Johns Hopkins Center for Innovation in Quality Patient Care was created in 2002 to facilitate patient-centered revamping of healthcare delivery systems at Johns Hopkins Medicine. Supporting a grass roots model of improvement, the Center helps coordinate the efforts of interdisciplinary teams of physicians, nurses and managers throughout the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions to gather data, evaluate changes, and recommend and implement best practices.
