Jennifer Elisseeff honored as 2014 NAI Fellow
The National Academy of Inventors (NAI) has named Department of Biomedical Engineering Jules Stein Professor Jennifer H. Elisseeff as one of 170 distinguished innovators to NAI Fellow status. Dr. Elisseeff joins an elite set of only 414 NAI Fellows that together represent more than 150 prestigious research universities and governmental and non-profit research institutions who collectively hold nearly 14,000 U.S. patents.
Election to NAI Fellow status is a high professional distinction. These academic inventors have demonstrated a highly prolific spirit of innovation in creating or facilitating outstanding inventions that have made a tangible impact on quality of life, economic development, and the welfare of society.
The 2014 NAI Fellows will be inducted into the Academy in a ceremony at Caltech in March 20, 2015. Fellows will be presented with a special trophy, a medal, and rosette pin in honor of their outstanding accomplishments. Learn more. ►
