Warren Grayson receives NSF CAREER Award
Warren Grayson, PhD, an assistant professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering and the Translational Tissue Engineering Center, has received the prestigious National Science Foundation Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Award. NSF CAREER grants are awarded to outstanding junior faculty members to help them advance their research and teaching activities. Dr. Grayson’s project entitled, “Modeling Stem Cell Decision-Making During Vascularized Bone Development” combines elegant molecular biology techniques with novel cell tissue engineering cell culture models to explore the factors governing the intricate cell-fate decisions that regulate the formation of composite tissues.
